Lifestreaming: general benefits and obstacles

From my experience with lifestreaming over the past year or so, I have found many benefits, namely: accountability, process and failure documentation, personal branding, archiving, data backup and source of income (with premium content section).

Obstacles to lifestreaming include: technical limitations (hosting, databases, software, RSS feeds), time required (and documentation interfering with experience), revelation of personal information, filtration of stream for viewers, collection of conversation in one place, long term privacy issues and debates of quantity versus quality (is there a need for more long form writing? how important is immediacy?).
