I am a designer, lifestreamer, podcaster, and MFA Design candidate at the University of Texas at Austin. My current research investigates lifestreaming as a lifestyle design methodology and online credibility mechanism. I received my BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in 2005. Immediately following, I worked as a print and web designer for Torque, The Royal Order of Experience Design, and Ogilvy, then began a freelance design practice with clients such as DePaul University and the University of Illinois Information Trust Institute. I have taught three courses on web design and development at the University of Illinois through the School of Art and Design. I was a teaching assistant for design history at UT Austin in Spring 09. I am currently working as the graduate research assistant for the UT System Virtual Learning Community Initiative.
