This is the body of a girl who is ~5’ 4”, ~126 lbs and has a healthy BMI and an athletic physique. This is the body of a girl who runs a mile in 6:50 and two miles in 15:00. This is the body of a girl who accepts her bigger, muscular thighs because they allow her to play field hockey and travel on a club team, swim in the high school state meet, play lacrosse, and do morning spin classes. This is the body of a girl who enjoys eating healthy foods and loves finding new recipes and foods that taste good and are good for her. This is the body of a girl who doesn’t try to starve herself, because she has learned to love her muscles. This is the body of a girl can do real push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and weight lift because she would rather be “bulky” than paper thin. This is a girl with broad swimmer’s shoulders and a large ribcage. But she doesn’t really care because they make her body unique. This is a girl who can’t wear Abercrombie shirts because the sleeves are really tight over her shoulders and biceps. But she doesn’t mind at all.  This is the body of a girl who has never understood when girls say “I want to be so fragile and little”. Why would I want to be fragile? Why would I want to be weak?? I like being strong and fit because I feel like I can conquer anything. If this makes me a “guy” then so be it. I’m proud of my body and what it allows me to do
